Valencia is nowadays one of the most exciting and cosmopolitan cities in Europe. There are many things in the city at the moment that can make your stay unforgetable. Be aware that besides the nice weather during the whole year, more than 300 days of sunshine a year, or its more than hundred kilometers of beautiful beaches, and the long night "fiesta", the city of Valencia is located in a privileged area because is rounded by Natural Parks. "La Albufera", a sweet water lagoon conected with the Mediterranean sea, wich make this natural space one of the most valued Mediterranean enviroments.... The old river Turia, one of the last remaining "forest lungs", an amazing park through the city with multiple leisure choices, one of those is the City of Arts and Sciencies, a huge complex of arquitecture with diferent cultural and leisure events, on the other side of rio Turia, there's also "Biopark", one of the three best zoo in the world. You can't miss "El Barrio del Carmen", the heart of the city, with impressive XV century buildings. Very easy to walk around you will find exclusive shops, all kind of restaurants and bars, museums, discos, etc. If what you fancy is sports, this is also the best place to come. The Region of Valencia is the perfect destination for practising all kinds of nautical activities, be aware that Valencia has been home city for the America's Cup. There are also over 20 golf courses, most of them located close to the sea. You can't miss the F1 in august, one of the most important events in Valencia. |
