Brussels - Belgium

Brussels as the capital of Belgium and of the European Union is an  eclectic city. The city has 3 main symbols: the Grand place in a medieaval style, the  Atomium ( 9 steel spheres connected by tubes built for the 1958  World's Fair), the Manneken Pis ( a bronze fountain of a small peeing  boy) and the Cinquantenaire Park symbol of the belgian monarchy.
If you like the comic strip you are in the right place. Lucky Luke, Tintin, Cubitus, Gaston Lagaffe and the Marsupilami are all in the  Comics Museum and you will find  all these comic characters painted on  the city walls, very ?Belgian?....

Try the belgian waffles (delicious with warm chocolate!!!!), the best belgian speciality is of course the ?moules frites? (mussels with  french fries) and don't forget the belgian beers, there are hundreds differents.
